Vampire the Masquerade: Redemption INFORMATION

THE STORY
Vampire the Masquerade is a rpg game about Vampires blending into society through key rules called the Masquerade.

Rule One: Do NOT expose yourself to humans.
Rule Two: Do NOT kill innocent humans unless provoked.
Rule Three: Do not disturb or provoke other clans of the night.
Rule Four: Blood is essential, buy blood from distributors at blood banks.
Rule Five: If a Kindred is found feeding upon a human without the Ventrue's permission to feeding rights in that area it is considered an act of treason.
Rule Six: If a Kindred is to make a fledgling without the Ventrue's permission the kindred in question will be executed without question as well as the soon to be turned fledgling.
Rule Seven: Feeding off another kindred is forbidden and considered diabolism, in turn the punishment is execution.

All who fail to uphold the Masquerade will be deemed a target for a bloodhunt, which all clans form together to destroy the single individual or clan that disrupts the balance between Vampire and human kind.

Brujah(brew-ja)

"The typical Brujah wears a biker jacket, tattered jeans, combat boots...".
Brujah childer conduct their political conventions amongst the noise of raves and punk rock concerts. Their Ancilla have long used secret, impromptu, and often violent rants to propel their anarchic culture. In comparison to other vampires, the Brujah are especially violent. Most of which have the physical attributes to giants amongst the males and muscular tone for females.
Characteristics:Violent, muscular, slightly tanned.

Gangrel(Gang-grell)

The Gangrel are associated with transmogrification, and vagrants. As a symbol, Gangrel often use an eye with four slashes underneath. The Gangrel clan's magical Discipline, Protean, allows them to assume partial or complete animal forms. Their mastery of Protean is so much greater than any other Clan that Gangrel can assume virtually any animal form, providing it is a scavenger or a predator.
Characteristics: Bodily hair grows longer and faster then others, aninamilistic traits(ears,tails,eye's and sometimes tusks.)

Malkavian(Mal-k-vian

As with all the vampire clans in the World of Darkness setting, Malkavians suffer from a specific flaw: in this case, they are incurably insane. However, many Malkavians believe their insanity to be a strength rather than a weakness. Exactly why they all suffer from insanity is unknown,
Characteristics: Odd hairstyles,strange speaking language and odd jibberish.

Nosferatu(Noz-fur-raw-tu)

The most visibly cursed of all Kindred, the Embrace warps each Nosferatu into a hideously deformed creature; the archetypal Nosferatu resembles Max Schreck's Count Orlok, though the curse has any number of variations. The Nosferatu are the spymasters of the dead, collecting information and selling it for a dear price. They are also the masters of the underground, living in the sewers for protection.
Characteristics: Deformity, can become invisible to the naked eye. Has the scent of sewers and dead rats.

Toreador (Tore-e-a-door)

The Toreador are some of the most beautiful and glamorous of the Kindred. Famous (and infamous) as a clan of artists and innovators they are one of the bastions of the Camarilla, as their very survival depends on the facades of civility and grace on which the sect prides itself.
Characteristics:Beauty and glamor, great artistic skills but obsession revolves around the arts.

Tremere (Tray-meer)

The background originally has Tremere were originally a group of human mages from House Tremere of the Order of Hermes. When they found their magical life-extending elixirs started failing due to the growing lack of belief in magic, they started looking elsewhere. They captured vampires of the Tzimisce clan and conducted experiments on their bodies and blood, and they found how to become immortal with the help of a fellow patron named the Comte de Saint Germain. They became immortal as promised, however, in exchange, they turned into vampires.

After their transformation, the Tremere were beset with enemies on all sides: the Tzimisce wanted revenge, the Order outlawed them, and their awakened Avatars left them on the transition to death, taking their magic with them. Tremere crafted the art of blood magic, Thaumaturgy, and they defended themselves.
Characteristics: Power to bend a beings blood, insatiable appetite for more power, tend to prefer drinking vampire blood rather then humans.

Ventrue (Ven-true)

The Ventrue are the rulers, leaders and politicos of the Camarilla, sometimes known as the Patrician Clan or the Kingship Clan. In Ancient Rome, they were generals and warlords of the Empire, and in the Dark Ages, they were knights and barons, leading crusades and conquests. In modern times the Ventrue still have great ambition and see themselves as conquerors, but their ways have changed, using courts and companies instead of feifdoms and mighty armies.
Characteristics: Political power and leadership of the clans yet are of the lowest strength's amongst the clans.

Biography: She doesn't really remember any of her human life. She hated having to live as food. But she remembers the night she changed like it was yeaterday.
She was walking home from a Rave that had happened in the besement of a friends house, she was all hyped up on the drugs from the party that she felt like she was flying. She had crved a design on her skin that she had saw on someone a long time ago. Blood streaming down her stomach she stumbled down the street to her appartment, she got to the door and all around were these men with amazing hairstyles. They were speaking in tongue and she listened to them like she could understand it. SHe hit a trash can and fell, laughing they walked over to her. She smiled up at the one with a come over, but not like old people do it. This guys made designs form on his head. He smiled back down at her talking to her in his launguage and she tried to talk back he looked at her mad. The man picked her up and kissed her, not fighting she leaned into him. Being the person she was she f*cked him. Then he bit her and she woke up like this, no guy around nothing but she found him one night and he smiled at her and never talked to her. She became apart of the Malkavian Clan and she realised the design she carved onto her self was the design for her clan. Fate.

Biography:

As of many amongst the Tremere family, the youngest of the newly joined bloodline is Alexander Gramwell, yet he prefers to be called Alex in short. A young brilliant student at Cambridge turned satanist, the boy dabbled into the occult. Eventually ending up at a satanic orgy ritual which he partook in. Heaving with mass ocean of sexual and carnal desires he didn't partake much notice when a single women grabbed hold of him and began biting deeply into his throat. He let it slide, he knew much about the blood hungry freaks of the world,he once tried drinking blood and it sickened him. Yet this girl had the fangs and all, pale white skin and eye's of blood red. Her mouth moved along his neck most eloquently. He felt his body begin to weaken, everything became dark,only feeling the soft curves of bodies, then hearing but the horrid screams of many lives soon becoming silenced.

He soon awakened as an immortal, hungering for blood, seeing and smelling it all around him. Bodies were torn apart and blood smeared every spectrum of the walls in the tightly small room. The women who had bitten him standing over him with a smile as she spoke in a soft elegant voice. "You've finally awakened my child, now, you must consume the womb that gave birth to you." She sliced her neck with her finger nails and brought Alex's lips the wound, which his mouth tightly sucked to the pale skin as he drank,guzzled her blood as if a fine wine. Savoring the intoxicating taste.

Slowly the blood stopped and the women fell dead at his feet. He had taken every drop from her, the blood was amassing,he wanted more,he needed more. So began the story of Alex Gramwell, a Tremere,master of thaumaturgy and one of the forsaken vampires of new york city.

Biography:: In her human life, Roman was an artist. Her life revolved around what she loved to do and that was all that mattered. She studied in Italy and France, never getting enough of the knowledge. The different styles drew her in and it was the only place it seemed she belonged. She never did have much of a personal life. But to others she was...interesting. Men always wanted her just because they knew they couldn't have her. She was the ultimate challenge.

But one night when she was leaving the library and on her way back to her small apartment, her perfect world was about to change.

Her lips were cut. She bit down on them when he grabbed her from behind and covered her mouth. He said these words: "I'll kill you if you scream." She remained motionless. "Do you understand? If you scream you're dead." She nodded her head. Her arms were pinned to her sides by his right arm wrapped around her and her mouth was covered with his left.
Her released his hand from her mouth.
She screamed. Quickly. Abruptly.
The struggle began.
He covered her mouth again. He kneed her in the back of her legs so that she would fall down. "You don't get it, bitch. I'll kill you. I've got a knife. I'll kill you." He released his grip on her mouth again and she fell, screaming, on the brick path. He straddled her and kicked her in the side. She made sounds, they were nothing, they were soft footfalls. They urged him on, they made him righteous. She scrambled on the path. She was wearing soft-soled moccasins with which she had tried to land wild kicks. Everything missed or merely grazed him. She had never fought before. Was chosen last in gym.
Somehow, she didn't remember how, she made it back on her feet. She remembered biting him, pushing him, she didn't know what. Then she began to run. Like a giant who is all powerful, he reached out and grabbed the end of her long hair. He yanked it hard and brought her down onto her knees in front of him. That was her first missed escape, the hair, the woman's long hair.
"You asked for it now," he said, and she began to beg.

Later, after she was bitten and changed into what she has now become, she remembered one little fragment of her human life. Not knowing that it was her last memory before everything went to Hell.
In the tunnel where she was raped, a tunnel that was once an underground entry to an amphitheater, a place where actors burst forth from underneath the seats of the crowd, a girl had been murdered and dismembered. She was told this story by the rapist. In comparison, he said, she was lucky.
But at the time, she felt she had more in common with the dead girl then she did with the large, strong vampire or anyone else for that matter. The dead girl and herself had been in the same low place. They had lain among the dead leaves and broken beer bottles.

So begins the story of a lonely, young, Toreador girl who is on her own in Syracuse, New York.
