" Just a normal Saturday night then?"

" All I have to do is stab him with the sacred blade, right?"
" It's not that simple. He has grown stronger. He is feeding off his sucubi. This is how you are going to get him. She gestured to about ten bottles of pills sitting on the table.
" You want me to get high with him?"
" No. This is St. John's Wort. Harmless to humans like you, deadly to him. It takes away his powers."
" So how do I get him to take it?"
" We lace this bourbon with it. He loves to drink."
" So its Kate Talylor, superhero?"
" Kate Taylor, Malachi slayer."


Kate

It was easy getting Malachi to agree to this. I asked him during Media today.

" Hey, um Malachi?"
" Yeah? It's Kate right?"
" Yeah. Do you fancy a drink later?"
" Sure. Anything to help the very pretty, new girl out."

Arrogant bastard.

Malachi

Sure it was weird that the new girl would ask me to a drink. But hey, who wouldn't want to get into bed with me?

Kate

" I can do this."
I was ready. I had the sacred blade strapped to my back and the bourbon ready. After I kill him, I have to go to his room and get the stone of Belyon. According to Ash, it could bend the laws of space and time. Cool right? But also dangerous now that the little bastard has his hands on it. I should probably feel privledged that I would even get to see the stone. It was carved by the abgels before the great war and Azazeal and the nephilim were cast out of heaven. The nephilim were held in the abyss. That is until Raina had Malachi. God, couldn't she have kept her knickers on?
That is when I heard a knock at the door.
" Kate?"
" Yeah, I'm coming."
I'm ready for you, you little bastard.

" So where did you go to college before you came here, Kate?"
" Oh just a little place up north. You wouldn't have heard of it."
" Do you have a beer?"
" I have a bottle of bourbon. A gift from dad."
" Its a little early, mate."
" Right. The beer is in there."
" So Malachi, why did you come here?"
" My father's idea. This is where my mother went to college."
" Is it awkward?"
" A little. I never knew her. She died when I was a baby."
And that wasn't so long ago seeing that, biologically speaking, he is only six months old.
" I need something stronger. How about that bourbon?"
" Sure. Anything for my new friend."

I licked my lips as he opened the bottle. Thanks to Ash, the seal was almost new. Magic was awesome.
" You drink this stuff? " He asked.
" Yeah, why? "
" Isn't it too strong for you? "
" Are you implying that I'm not strong? "
" No, but girls don't drink hard liquor. "

It was a lie of course, but I would drink some of it.

Malachai

I had never heard a of a girl drinking this stuff, but things were getting a bit strange so I shouldn't be surprised. If I got her drunk off of this, I could get her into bed. And she would love it.

Kate

After he drank almost the whole bottle, it became easier to hide where my drink was really going. He was getting really drunk. I could tell, his speech slurrred and his eyes glossed. Just like my husband, only a lot less violent.
" So Malachai, are you having fun? " I asked casually.
" Yes, " He sounded a little submitted.
This is what we were waiting for. I pretended to scratch my back, but I really had the sacred blade strapped down. The Blade of Orichiah. It was beautiful. And about time to send this little bastard back to Hell.
" Close your eyes, " I whispered hotly.
" Why? "
" I have a surprise for you. " I kissed his neck, just for affect. He did and I took the opportunity to reach down the collar of my shirt, soundlessly and extract the blade. I brought it in front of me and weilded it. I was about to shove it up under his ribs when he opened his eyes. I thrust it at him anyway. He yelled and my eyes widened as the blade broke off and shattered on the ground.






The Mark of Malachai:

I froze and backed away. His stomach glowed from where I stabbed him, it didn't break the skin.
" You *edit your post and this will go away*! " He lunged for me, but I ducked and ran out. I had to find Ash. I still held onto the handle.
I ran into my door, taking me a minute to open it I was so scared he was going to come after me.
" What's wrong? " Ash asked as soon as I managed to calm down long enough. I threw what was left of the blade on the bed where she stared at it.
" Did he do that? "
" When I stabbed him. "
" How could it break? "
" I don't know, but it snapped like a child's toy. "
She sat down and started biting her nails, uttering curse words.
" Is there any way of fixing it? " I asked.
" One, but it'll be very difficult. "

Malachi

One of my sucubi came into the room. Joe. She was pretty, long legs, blonde hair.
" What happened to you? "
" You ask me that now? " I snapped.
" I have to tell you, Ash has someone working for her. "
" I know. "
" You do? "
" Yes. "
" She is going to try to kill you. "
" I know, I jut had a drink with her. "
" And? "
" She tried to kill me. "

Keep Going I caught up! oh no! AH!

I've only read the first page so far, and I'm glad there's more. I really, really want to punch that guy, though.
