Forbidden Rose

" Kate!!!!????" A loud booming yell.
" Yes?" A quiet peacful whisper.
He grabbed my arm eith such a force that I knew I would find a bruise the next mornong.
" Are you leaving me?"
" No."
" You lie to me, how dare you?"
" Stop it, your'e hurting me!"
" Don't raise your voice at me."
" I am sorry."
He ran his fingers under my chin, stroking my cheek. " I will be the one to tame you Kate. You are mine."
He slapped me across the face as he spoke.
" Don't turn away from me. You will look at me when I am talking to you."
I fell to my knees as he threw me to the floor as well as the vase of roses I had picked earlier. The vase hit the floor next to me, the glass cutting my hand. The blood rand and tears flowed. I looked around, desperatly. I was trapped.

Please don't hurt me, I begged over and over in my head. My eyes were squeezed shut, so tight, I was giving myself a headache.
" Kate. You stupid girl." He was chuckling as he bent over my body. " You think you can lie to me and get away with it? Look at the mess you made me make."
I stared without seeing anything. I could hear him, but only subconciously. I wasn't really there.
" Clean it up. I'll deal with you later. Don't think for a minute that I am done woth you." I heard his footsteps as he went into the kitchen to get himself a beer. I heard the door of his study close. I didn't dare move. I layed there for eternity. Not really, 3 hours.
My breathe came in short ragged gasps. The blood... I couldn't stand the smell and yet I lay in the growing pool that surrounded my body, eveloping it in a warm crimson blacket of liquid.
I saw my reflection in the glass. My hair fell in auburn whisps around my shoulders, my forhead, and face covered in blood. My white dress... where should I begin?
I felt the pain in my side when he had kicked me with the steel toe of his boots. It hurt to breathe. I could hear the blood in my throat. The soft gurgling as it fought to drown me. Would it be peaceful to die by drowning in my own blood? Or would it be an answered prayer. I couldn't help but cry.
That's when I heard the back door open. I froze, expecing the pain that i knew would come when he pulled me up by my hair, forcing it out of my skull. But the pain did not come. Just the most angelic voice I had ever heard.
" Woman, why are you crying?"
I couldn't quite respond. I was in shock and yet, by not responding, I was killing myself.
" I want to die. Kill me, please." There was no sound to it. The blood running from my mouth sent me into a coughing fit, which sent a searing pain through my ribs and spine.
" No, child. I am here to help."
I sat confused. Was I dead? None of this made sense.
" My name, is Ash."

I was fading, fast. But I tried to focus. I looked at her; at Ash. She definetly fit her name. She had ashy blonde hair that was almost silver. She wore a knee length white dress that draped off the shoulders. She was barefoot. As she walked over, I couldn't help but feel lustful.
" What are you doing?" I immediately became panicked.
She didn't respond. She just bent over me and touched my ribs. But oddly, I felt no pain. The pain immediately disapeared.Then she moved her hands all over my body and soon all that was left of the assault was the blood and broken glass on the floor.
" What did you do? What are you?"
" I'm a friend. What I am is not important right now, but you have to get out of here."
" What?"
" We don't have much time."
" I can't leave." It was a reflex. I had told my friends I don't know how many times that I could not leave because he would hunt me down.
" You are afraid that he will hurt you." It wasn't a question, just a confirmation.
" Yes." Why was I being so truthful. I felt like I could trust Ash, but I haven't trusted anyone since Christina....
" Do you really think that I would let him hurt you again?"
A sly smile spread across her face. It was sort of creepy to see such an evil movement come from this peaceful creature.
" He will not dare to touch you." She made a movement toward the door as I heard the study door open and footsteps coming our way. As a reflex, I immediately shrank back against the wall.
" Get out of here Ash!" I hissed through my teeth. I knew that if she left now, he would not find her and she will have gone. Leaving me to ... what? Death?
Probably.
" KATE! Have you cleaned up that mess yet?"
"Stay back." Ash warned. And for some reason, I trusted her.
The door opened.
" Kate. Kate listen I...." He saw Ash. He looked at me and back and forth. Then a smile spread across his face. I saw Ash stiffen.
" Who is this, Kate? What does she want?" He came storming toward me, but just as he raised his hand, Ash was there, blocking his way to me.
" You will not touch her."
He stared back at here with a blank expression for a minute and then he began to chuckle.
" And just who do you think you are. If I want to touch my wife I will. Now get out of my way. He lifted his leg and kicked her hard in the stomach. She fell onto her knees and remained there for a second, then she glanced up at him. Ahe started laughing a musical melody of defiance.
" Big mistake."

its not boring at all!! it is amazing and very suspenseful!!!!

Now I just have to think of a lot of twists to keep it going. And probably supress the idea of making a lesbian scene. How do you think people would react to that?
Probably badly. Or just wish there was plenty of action.

That is when I heard her laughter. It was soft like wind chimes.
I watched in horror as her strode arrogantly over to Ash, and stopped in front of her to look her over. As if she were some horse at an auction.
I emediatly thought of Hex as Ash pulled something out og her coat. It was weird. One minute she apeared likea n angel in front of me and the next she was wearing jeans, a purple top with a black corset thing over it and a floor length button up leather coat.Her hands crossed over her stomach, forming an X as she pulled something out of oposite sides from hidden pockets. I couldn't really see what they were because she was standing in front of me. But she put them together and they clicked. She aimed them at him.
James stared back at me with mock foolery in his eyes.
" You threaten me with a toy? You pathetic child." He tried to knock her down, but she jerked it toward him and a sort of lightning thing flew out and hit him. It made my eyes water that's for sure. I couldn't even tell you what happened because, you would have to see it. the next thing I knew, James was burning up and then there was nothing left.
" What happened to him?" I wasn't scared. Relieved,yes, but a little weirded out.
" He was dispatched into darkness. Body and soul." She didn't look at me as she spoke.
" Who are you?"
" I am Ash. The last of the Annoited Ones."
