i really like colette because i can relate to her in a way. about two years ago i became really depressed and many of my friends just kinda stopped trying to talk to me, since i didnt respond much. but then i 'came back' and was no longer depressed and my friends were my friends again. sort of like colette's story, in a way. so i just feel close to her and i understand her.

She is so sweet and guarded.

Colette, probably one of my favorite characters thus far (just finished book one.) I think her little subplot was great(I kind of wish we could have seen more on it); her back story about her coming back...positively heart breaking. Poor Colette.

My thoughts for a moment somewhat drift...does anyone remember how long it has been since Colette's death in the first novel? *feels ashamed about being unable to remember*

im not sure it says how long its been . . . id check but my copy is lent out right now . . .

Thank you kindly ma'am. I just picked up KoL from a library today, I'm still pretty early in the novel. However, I'm enjoying it thoroughly. I like how Margi (who I found pretty entertaining) and Colette are getting along so well; they're pretty funny.

i love them both. i see a llittle of my own characteristics in each of them.

Almost done with KoL now. Colette's whole story about her death and returning was really interesting, I think. I kind of hope she isn't taken completely out of the story, she's a good character.

i dot think she will be. i love her, so she better not be gone. theyll probly say ore about her in passing strange. (14 days!!!!!!!!)

Would anyone be so kind as to help me out and tell me how long it had been since Colette's death during the events of Generation Dead? I don't own my own copy of the book.

im not sure if they say. i think maybe a year at most.

I'm fairly sure it was mentioned, it seems to me like it was said to be a summer or two ago. It does seem like it said one summer/year. It's no big deal really, I just think time lines for books are interesting. You know?

This one is particularly interesting just to see how long Margi and Phoebe went without interacting with Colette; then seeing how quickly Phoebe, Margi and Colette spending time together along with Colette boarding with Margi made Colette able to talk and function better.

I know it was summer, maybe a year and a half? Two years? Somewhere around there.

Something to that effect, I do too however remember that it was in the summer. I also remember her saying she was dead for five days before she came back. I just can't remember how long ago her actual death was.

that is a good point. it would be interesting to know how long they went wihtout her.
