Sex Ed For The Dead

Ok, the title is just for fun. I think it's hilarious.

Really, my question is one that I think many people have when reading books with undead romance: Can they have sex?

I saw at least one post up around here of someone hinting at the same question, so I thought I'd make a thread to talk about this. Maturely, please? Or not, whichever.

Anywho, the main issue is that they have no heartbeat=no bloodflow= some real problems for male DB's.


Let's break the fourth wall for a minute:
Then again, the same issue of no bloodflow should mean that blood would pool whenever they were still for too long. This would cause their skin to blacken. in the end, I think you have to stop and realize that the dead don't really ever come back to life. You can't really ask a question of medical possibility for a scenerio that's already medically impossible.

But it's fun to do so, anyways.

So, what do you think: In the context of the books, do you think it's possible for the DB boys to have sex? Er, or rather we should we clarify sex as "intercourse."

Several characters crudely hint at this in book 1 (Pete) about Tommy and Phoebe...but of course they don't even get as far as a kiss, so who knows?

hmmmmm . . . good question. i have often wondered that myself, and so have my friends. i mean it could be possible. why dont you ask daniel waters? just kidding! that would be pretty awkward.

If they did have sex...wouldn't that be just slightly weird? Like if it was George and some chic...he doesn't hide the fact that he's dead....so went there getting all hot and heavy..and she feels his ribs his actual ribs press up against her wouldn't that just kill the mood?
