Lets talk about Pheobe

Pheobe is strong. She feels what she feels and is unapologetic for it. She seems to care so much for others both dead and alive and wants to make people aware, she continually tries to educate herself and others. I only hoped that some of the other adults (Margie's parents/coach) could have been as mature and open-minded about the differently biotic. I admire Pheobe.

As do I, I also admire how she handled her parents in the whole situation with Tommy and the dance. She held her ground well and proved her point.

most definately! I would love to get inside her head a little more..does she want a realtionship with Tommy..it seems that way, but she also seemed a little wierded out about him wanting to kiss her...

It seemed like she wanted him to like like her, but at the same time understands that them being an item would help further the acceptance of DB..

I think she loves both Adam, and Tommy, but doesnt know it.

Phoebe's great. I see a lot of myself in her, I think. I like that she isn't afraid to dress the way she pleases and she isn't afraid to hang out with her friends because she likes them, despite the fact that not many other people do.

I think Phoebe is braver than what she gives herself credit for. I think she would be happy with Tommy or Adam either way. I just don't want either of the two to get hurt. I love Phoebe's personality. I don't really have much to say about her. Other than I love her so much.

That is a hard decision to make. Adam or Tommy. But honestly if it were me, I couldn't choose either. They both love her and she wants to open up, but is afraid. She has to figure out who will be better for her by loving her the most. Who to choose?

I don't really think it is possible to fall in love because people use love as a way to break you. But for Phoebe, I'd say she's doing pretty good for herself.

One thing I like a lot about Phoebe is that she is a very believable character. She's usually pretty reasonable, but then some things just set her off.

Ditto. In fact that's why I first began to read the series. I heard there was a Gothic main character and was interested to see how well played out she was, if Mr. Waters did his research or not; or if he was going to make her a stereotypical self-abusive, hateful etc, etc, etc, creature.

see i like how she is goth because i can relate too but not because im goth, but because im one of the 'freaks' at my school. and not just cuz im dead. it was like that before. im an outcast and so is she so i understand her.

Yeah, she isn't afraid to defy who she is.

I loved her throughout, she's awesome to follow. Although the one scene that really made me wince was when she freaked out about Tommy's new what's-her-name. I thought she'd be above that.
