What are you upset about??

Today I found out that my school's vice principal resigned today. He was also my poetry teacher. Poetry was my favorite class.
I think he resigned because he is very ill. he hasnt been in school for two weeks. When his wife, who also teaches at my school, was asked why he's been gone, she said that he wasnt doing well and she didnt want to talk about it because she didnt want to cry in front of the class. this was before the announcement of his resignation was made. also his father died at the age of forty. i really hope he is okay, but i have the feeling he isnt. im actually crying as i type this.

I cried because I was terrified >.<

i found out that the guy i like and wanted to go to my school's semi-formal with has asked someone else. someone who i dont like and never did and is so not good enough for him

I failed...

I'm crying because im 18 and while everyone else i know seems to know what they are doing in their life i remain forever a spectator on the going ons of my own life.

okay. i just need to rant right now. i am so pissed off and have been for days about this topic. i'm not sure if any of you guys heard about this, but i think it's on a national news level. i'm talking about those asses of the Westboro Baptist Church from Kansas who are traveling the country protesting the funerals of dead soldiers saying God hates America and the war so that's why he's killing these soldiers. how messed up is that?? now upon first hearing about this a couple weeks ago, i got pissed, but now i'm even more pissed. why? because they came to a neighboring town of mine in Northeast PA to protest a funeral. the fallen soldier's funeral was held on Wednesday November 17. now NEPA have very strong opinions about these types of things, and we were all pissed to hear WBC was coming here. so, on Wednesday morning, many people gathered at the church holding the funeral to blockade the church from these protesters. hundreds showed up, one of my friends included. i wish i could have been there. my friend told me she was there for four hours, and these asses from WBC NEVER SHOWED UP!!!! seriously??!! they have a website where they talk about their protests and how God is killing these soldiers. i went on this website today to see what they had to say about the protest they never showed up at, though they made it sound like they were. these are direct quotes from this website:

HOW SICK IS THAT???!!! I MEAN COME ON PEOPLE!!!


okay. i just really needed a good rant about that without any interruptions because whenever i talk about it with my friends (who are also pissed) they, of course, add their thoughts to it.

if you think what these people are doing is sick, or if you have any idea what i'm talking about with these people, please PM me. i would love to hear your thoughts.

okay and yes i know: Freedom of speech. but there is a TIME AND A PLACE!! which is not a the FUNERAL OF A SOLDIER!! if you don't like the war, don't protest at a funeral, go to the government.
